Hey friends here I am filled with a lot of story’s after being on the road for 2 weeks and 10 concerts behind me.
In this few weeks I have made a sort of diary because my hard disk went full because of all the things that happened night after night.
This is my own story and memory’s about the best days of my life so far.
It was my first tour being on the road on Europe with some of the Dutch Die Hards.

Every day was different so let’s start the 12th of July in Amsterdam at the Heineken Music Hall Amsterdam;

“ First the weekend from the 10th – 11th we went to the American Hotel in A‘dam with the Dutch Die Hards where some MEIN roomies from the travel package stayed.
We met there Kathy & Dana from Missouri, two girls which Marcel ( mumpie ) and Misha met at them tour last march in the USA.
Also we met Terik (?) from N.Y a cool guy !

We had some fun and after being a hour in the bar someone spotted Steven Girmant and Stephanie Gordon.
Also mle’s crew stayed at the hotel so many familiar face’s been recognized.

I talked a while with Steven Girmant and Stephanie Gordon.
I showed them a picture of MLE and friend Joan from Leavenworth K.S ( this photo is taken on high school camp in 1976, MLE being a teenager ).
They told me that they met Joan last year ( something I already heard from Joan, and they like the picture very much)

So after a short night sleep we went next morning to the HMH and we met there a lot of people like Bitewound, Rhonda Ashby, Camille and her friends !
We did some football to enjoy ourselves.

Around 15:30 Melissa Tammy and band arrived and I was all hyper.
My eyes where more pointed on Tammy than on MLE lol

So after a while Tammy came in front of me and I asked her :
“So you are DiamondShoe…( this is the name how she introduced herself to me, Sept 03, after a special conversation between us )
It was like she had a flashback in her eyes and said; “WoodenShoe !?”
I grinned and got shy and red and then the greatest thing happened.

She made a step back, took her camera which she had around her neck , and made some picture’s of me”.
Ooh my god... I was grounded in the earth and didn’t knew how to smile / stand.
So cool … After that she signed a great picture of hers for me with the text; “ A face as sweet as a voice…Tammy Lynn Michaels“
This autograph is very special and personal to me, so the tour was not yet started and I was already in heaven.
Tammy also saw the guys from USA tour ( misha and mumpie ) and started to hug and kiss with them, so awesome.

After that Melissa already came my way in line and I showed her the picture from herself in 1976.
She was amazed/stuned and asked me how I got that one, so I told her the story.
She asked her if she good have a copy so I promised her that I would be send it to her.
After almost 70 people got them signature, MLE went away and we all had our own special moment …placed in our memory’s

Around 17:00 I went to the restaurant to get some dinner because at 19:00 I had a meet & greet with MLE together with LuckyAngel ( a very special boardie from MEIN )
With my camera in a safe place ;o) we went inside and waited for 15 minutes talking with press people and security.
At the left side from us was a elevator and guess who stood there….Philip Sayce with his guitar, asking us what was going on there.
A very cool moment you must seen the face he had on us ;o)

So later we went in the elevator together with the press, Steven and Stephanie.
I felt myself as MLE in the L&A DVD when she stood in the elevator, talking with the famous bowling ball guy ;o)
Stephanie stood in front of me....man is she so handsome, gladly the elevator didn’t stuck, I would not survive the ride with Stephanie in front of me lol

We arrived in a room and Stephanie told the press people that MLE would first meet and greet us, and then she would take time for the press people.
So after a while Steven says;
“ I’m going to see if the BOSS is ready” and like 4 minutes later MLE came in the room. She said hellooo to us and went straight to the press people.
Hey Hey that was cool…
She was shaking hands with them, give some of them 3 kisses ( yes she knew that in Holland it was 3 ), and talked about that it was great to be back in Amsterdam.
I tried to follow the conversation but was way to busy keep a eye on Lucky Angel!

Melissa said that she was so ready for tonight, knowing and pointing to us, that it would be a party tonight.

Then she came to us and I first let Miranda do her talk with MLE.
She asked MLE to sign a baseball with her name.
So Melissa started to spell the name - M -…looking to Miranda and wondering what letter came next - I -
Miranda started blushing and with every letter she spelled she became red-der and heated and kind of moving with her hands before her face, because she also to get it hotter.
So sweet to see this !

Then Melissa came my way and I asked her not for a signature (I have enough these days ...) but for a hug.
She threw her right shoulder to me, wrapped her left hand around my back and gave me the best hug I ever had from a person which is not a family not even a friend !
Then I gave her some “WoodenShoe bed slippers“.
I told her it was a present for her and Tammy, so she (mle) good do some sexy clog dances for Tammy.
(I was making some dance steps)
She laughed and said; " Well we will see…thank u so much".

Then something caught my eye Melissa’s belt… so I kind of bend down and said “hey it’s a scorpion”.
It was a very cool belt which looked like there was a scorpion in water in it!
Later I kind of feel a shamed, bend down to her cross lol.
And then something came in my brain (like a pop up screen) and went out of my mouth lol

I told MLE about our group of fans and being next year 10 year together. I told her about our plan to go on a USA tour, which includes also visiting Leavenworth Kansas and doing some concerts.

I told her that we had tried before, by management record company etc, to get a group picture but that it was always ignored our saying that it good not be taken.
So now I want to ask it myself to you, is there a way that we can get next week in Antwerp, our tomorrow on your second show at the HMH on a group picture.
You can first talk about it with Steven, but maybe you can consider about it.

She asked me with how many we where and I said 10. 
So she looked up to Steven telling him to remember Melissa in Antwerp for making a group picture with the Dutch Die Hards!

Amazing and surprised we said goodbye to MLE shaking hands and going back into the elevator, entering backstage the HMH halls.
We walked behind the stage into the hall where tour friends were already in front of the stage !
Before the concert I told the people, who where also early in line, that I had a meet & greet that evening and if it was ok we could come in front again.
They said that it was ok that Lucky Angel and myself good stand by the rest of the group who where already inside that evening.
So thanks again 4 that.. x

So we kind of shuffled to the front and told about the meet & greet.
Than I told about the surprise, the group picture, man was I ever been hugged ! So we said cheers on it with some Heineken Beertjes :O)


The first night was a very very special night after having a hard two years behind me all the pain stress and tears came out that night.
These are my own high points;

- Tammy was sitting at the right of the stage, enjoying the atmosphere of the audience and clapping and dancing around.
- Don’t you need... we sing along with the crowd
- There where some real cool confetti canons on BMSW and Melissa cleaned the stage with a leaf blow machine AWESOME. She enjoyed it very much cleaning the mess we made.
- Silent Legacy going over in Tuesday Morning;

Here I cried my tears out, all the anger and hurt from the last 2 years in my prvt life, this was very healing to me!
Getting S.L every night was way to good because that’s my all time favorite !
So I was spoiled by MLE lol

- She played her guitar with a special plectrum made by M&M (Mumpie and Misha) and loved it that the guys made this special plectrum for her.
- MLE received a translate – Dutch / English book from Tulip-Girl and tried to translated MeetMeInTheBack in a very funny way !
- Meet me in the back was cool again seeing the audience went down on them kneece...for MLE the party was started
There will be more memories but so far this is what I have captured on my hard disk!

Night two was also special but that one I have not written down in my diary and now being two weeks further it kind of disappeared on my hard drive, but I know when I hear the show back one day it all will be back.
Melissa promise us to sing next time in Holland the song “It’s for you” so that one goes down in the MLE I made a promise book ;o)
She played this moment, I want to come over, the weakness in me and these where my moments with my special own lucky angel.
I also met Anke and Denise and we stood by them at the show it was great to see these girls again after well ill think 2 years !
She also played “the late September dogs “ us knowing that this is Tammy’s favorite song.

After the concert we went to the café near the HMH and sing along with the lucky cd.
I said farewell to the most of the DDH and my Lycky Angel knowing we would see them in Antwerp again, also knowing that my beloved person wasn't there ;o(
We made our trip to Tilburg to get a good night sleep to make our self ready for.... Hannover!
